Merry Christmas

"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

Hello everyone!!!

I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas!!! As cliché as it sounds, Jesus is truly the reason for the season. Let us not forget that today is not about the amount of gifts we get, but it's about the greatest gift that was given to us by our Heavenly Father.

Love you!

Words Of Encouragement

Hello everyone!

I just want to take the time to encourage someone today. Regardless of what you are going through I want you to know that God is still in control. He's still able. He still heals. He still delivers. He still provides. He still guides. No matter what it may look like you will make it through. He knows everything and will be with you till the end. He's still on the throne. He's always listening to the voice of His children. Nothing catches Him by surprise. Nothing. How great it is to have a Father that is ever present and that never leaves. This year has been a year of spiritual growth for me. Wow. Like I honestly cannot believe where I'm at now compared to where I was 6 months ago. He is definitely working within me. Constantly turning me on the potter's wheel. Even when I don't feel like anything has changed within me spiritually, I soon find out that He's been working behind the scenes. So keep reading the Word, keep praying, keep fasting, keep praising, keep seeking. Don't worry about someone else's walk. Please don't compare yourself to someone else!! Just don't. I've been there and it only breeds discontentment and jealousy. I've had to learn that my journey is mine and your journey is yours. It's like running in a marathon for the first time. As long as you cross that finish line who cares what place you come in? You completed the race that was set before you. You conquered it. Yeah you got tired, but you didn't quit. Quitting would mean you forfeited everything. This walk is the same way. We'll get tired and grow weary, but we can't stop. We may not can run at the moment, but walking is fine. Why? Because you're still moving forward. Don't ever give up. You are more than a conqueror!!

I also want to encourage you to read Romans Chapter 8 in your quiet time.
Love you and praying for you! *watch the video at the bottom*

2 Corinthians 10 verse 4-5
" For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

Philippians 3 verse 12-14
12 I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. 13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it,[d] but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

Romans 12 verse 2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Life Update

Hello everyone!! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I wasn't really able to celebrate until the next day, but nevertheless I enjoyed it. It all started kind of rocky seeing as how my back passenger tire basically unraveled as I was driving home from work the evening before Thanksgiving. I wasn't scared because I know how to change a tire AND because I knew that God was with me, but I just wanted someone physically there with me....for like support I guess you could say. Welp, the thing is I don't have anybody to depend on besides my parents and they live 45 minutes away from where I was located beside the road. Would they have came to help? Absolutely, but it was dark and I wasn't about to call them about a flat tire! So I just kind of sat there for a few minutes and wondered who I could call. I was led to call my friend from work. She just so happened to be leaving when I called her and she came right on out there to where I was at. We changed the tire and went on about our way. When I say "we" I really mean her because all I did was jack the car up and operate the flash light on my phone. She moves quicker. lol. My 32 birthday was on the 29th of November. I had to work and I was sick so I didn't do anything. It wasn't a big celebrated day, but I was thankful to be blessed with another year. I attended my first ever Christian concert featuring Kari Jobe about two weeks ago. It was absolutely amazing!!! I didn't want it to end. I'm looking for different things engage in, but I really like the arts. I'm not a planner...AT ALL, but I'm going to have to start planning out more things to do because work, home, and church gets boring. Today is the 1st day of the last 31 days of the year. What are you going to do in this last month of 2016?

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello! I wanted to drop in real quick and say Happy Thanksgiving. I hope that everyone is enjoying this day with loved ones or in whichever way is best for you. For me, I'm at work which is a bummer, but I can't complain about the three day weekend I'm gonna have! Although this day is the set day to "give thanks", EVERYDAY should be a day of thanksgiving for the body of Christ!!

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. -Psalm 100 v4.

Take Care of The Body; Our Reasonable Service

"For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another" Romans 12:4-5

In the natural terms of a body, each part must be operating right so that the body will function how it's supposed to. Every extremity and organ must be getting the proper nutrients for it to remain healthy and to function on one accord, for a greater movement.

It's the same in the spiritual body. Everyone must find what their responsibility(extremity or organ) is within the body of Christ. Everyone must work together for the greater movement. Some responsibilities are far greater than others, but ALL are equally important. *so don't even bother with the comparison game. wink*

In the same way that the physical body needs nutrients, so does the spiritual body. In the natural, what we put in is what we should expect to get out. If we constantly feed ourselves junk food, will our be bodies be in tip top shape? NO!(trust me, I know, BUT GOD) If we constantly feed our spiritual selves junk(bad television, social media nonsense, garbage music) will it be in tip top shape? NO! If we eat junk, listen to junk, watch junk, junk is what will come out. We need to be sure that we are doing our part in the body of Christ and not consume junk, but that we are feasting on the Heavenly, Holy, and Righteous. This must take place in each individual believer as each individual has an assigned part. We must fast, pray, praise, worship and read our Word. This is our spiritual food. Remember, what goes in, is what comes out.

If too much junk going in the physical makes you lethargic and unproductive, wouldn't you agree that you'll have the same outcome with the spiritual?? Let us not be dead weight within the body of Christ. We all need each other for the advancement the Kingdom.

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith; if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.       Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality. -Romans 12:1-13

-Love you all!

Happy Saturday!!

Good morning to all. It's such a beautiful day here in southern Alabama. That's a blessing considering that Hurricane Matthew has wreaked havoc everywhere he has touched down.
LOL. Biblical humor.

I don't really have a formula yet as far as when I'll post, but I'm aiming to be lead by God in what to post and when. I just wanted to go ahead and get something up. :)
