I was encouraging people on a previous blog about not giving up on this walk and realized we often quit things because we're pressed on the timing. God is not bound by time. So when things are not happening in a specific time frame that's when we want to hurry and rush God. We want to put Him within our constraints. God is NOT bound by time, we are. When it looks as is He's not doing anything, He is.
We as believers cannot be stuck on a time clock. God hears our prayers and He will answer them according to His will and His timing. Our frustration comes from counting the minutes while we sit back and do nothing.....but count the minutes. We have to be busy about kingdom work in the process of waiting on an answer from God. Ever been at work or school and find yourself staring at the clock? You look, it say 1:30 and you could almost swear you've been busy for 20 minutes so you look again and it says 1:36. Talking about a bummer! I know I have moved when it wasn't time for me to move and let's just say that I'm still dealing with the consequences of my actions. Wait on God!
We are not to operate the way the world does. The world is on a timeline. They have set ages by which things are supposed to happen and if you are not where your age indicates you should be, you are failing at life. Some things we cannot avoid because we live in this world. Remember though, we are IN the world not, OF the world. "Be ye transformed" (Romans 12v2)is the bible verse that I think about when it comes to this subject.
So calm down and take a deep breathe. Don't get so worked up over something God is in control of. If it's God's will for your life, your prayer will be answered. Stop thinking that because He hasn't moved yet, that He's not going to. He moves in His timing, not ours.
